Researching the products to sell on eBay!
(Tutorial 1)

There are few steps you need to take to be able to sell products on eBay and online in general. First you need to select which products are popular sell. When I say popular, I do not mean the top hottest selling item, I mean something that is consistently selling and something where small business owner can find wholesale items and make profits on. Here are the basic steps you need to take:

Step 1: Log into your eBay account.You can do so by clicking HERE.

Find great deals at eBay!

Click on the tab sell located in the top right corner.

Step 2. Click on seller central.

Step 3. Then click on what is Hot.

Step 4. Click on eBay Pulse!

Now you may be looking at the popular searches, but I have to tell you, you will not make a lot of money there. Actually, you will not make any. Big companies have taken over that market. You need to find smaller niche market. Most people make a mistake of stopping here. They look at the big stores and they get discouraged and leave the whole eBay biz. Do not make the same mistake the others do.

Step 5. Scroll down this list and click on the see more eBay pulse categories.

Step 6. This will give you category, by category what is selling on eBay.

Keep in mind, you do not need to find 100’s of products to sell. Depending on what your needs are, you may be happy with one product. Now you are thinking WHAT? Well, if one product can bring in $20 per sale, and if you can sell it 5 times a day, then you are making $100. If you find 2 that are bringing in each $20 per sale you will be making $200 per day.

Your time is better spent searching for unique products, than for the most popular. Unique will be overlooked by a lot of top sellers and that is how you will make money.

Step 7. Select a category. For this example purpose, we will choose baby category.

Step 8. Click on Baby Monitors.

This gives you the list of all the popular items that are selling on eBay right now.

On the left hand side it shows popular searches and on the right it shows largest stores that sell them. You always need to keep track of your competition. In this case, competition is not huge, and there is a good chance you can make money. On this same screen if you scroll down, you will see the most watched items. It can help you determine if the product is worth your time.

Do these steps again and select the few products that you think will be a good sell.
